The Diamond Sutra · Vajracchedikā Prajñāpāramitā
Touch the diamond
Thirty-two fragments of one diamond, resting in sequence. But order, too, is something the mind holds. When you are ready, shatter it — and watch the wish to put it back.
The sutra cannot be understood, only undergone. These are not lessons. They are small dissolutions you feel in the body.
Lest the luminous become vague. The history, the philosophy, the psychology, and the neuroscience beneath the paradox.
A question with no door. Sit with it. When the mind tries to grasp an answer, watch what the grasping is.
