Old Gods is a publishing house — a collection of interactive artifacts about wisdom traditions, esoteric symbolism, contemplative practice, and the inner life. Each chamber is a mirror, not a fortune: a structured way to reflect, learn, or examine a question you bring. Nothing in Old Gods is medical advice, psychological diagnosis, legal counsel, or financial guidance. The cathedral does not predict the future, foretell illness, or decree destiny.
You may create one personal account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure. If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Old Gods offers three tiers:
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel any time through your Apple or Google account settings (for mobile subscriptions) or through the in-app account panel (for web subscriptions). Refunds are handled through the relevant store's refund policy.
The text, design, code, sigils, and original compositions of each chamber are the property of Old Gods and its imprints. The wisdom traditions Old Gods draws from — the Tarot, I Ching, Runes, the Hermetic corpus, the Sefer Raziel, the Orphic Hymns, the Gospel of Thomas, the Upanishads, and others — belong to humanity. We honor them. You are free to read, learn, and apply these traditions in your own life. Reselling our chamber content as your own is not permitted.
You retain ownership of anything you write into your own grimoire. We do not claim it. We do not train models on it.
When you invoke an oracle, the response is generated by a large language model. The cathedral curates the voice — but the response is not from an authoritative human teacher. Take what is useful, leave the rest, and remember: it is a mirror.
Old Gods is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy, or that any chamber will produce a specific result for you. Use of Old Gods is at your own discretion. Nothing in the cathedral is a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If you are in crisis, contact a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Old Gods, its operators, and its imprints are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the cathedral. Total liability for direct damages will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
You can stop using Old Gods and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to harm other seekers, or abuse the cathedral's services.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in the cathedral and emailed to active accounts. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
